Not a subscription box for bird lovers. A correspondence.

If you have been searching for a subscription box for bird lovers, this sits on the same shelf and is a different thing entirely. Everything in the envelope is paper. There is nothing to store, refill, assemble or find a cupboard for.

What you are subscribing to is a story told one month at a time, and the plates that came out of it. Twelve months, and then it finishes.

Four things people ask

Subscriptions are a trap. Will I forget to cancel and pay forever?

Monthly billing ends after twelve months. You can pause or cancel earlier by emailing hello@wildbirdpost.com. Six- and twelve-month prepaid plans do not renew automatically.

Will it actually get here? It is coming from Ireland.

It goes as letter post, addressed to you by name, with the postage included in the price. We post on the first Tuesday from an Irish post office, and after that it is with the post, like any letter crossing the Atlantic. We will not promise you a date we do not control.

Is this for serious birdwatchers? I am not one.

No list to tick and no field ornithology. It is a story, one bird a month and a plate worth framing, for people who like watching birds rather than counting them.

Euro or dollars? What am I actually paying?

Dollars. Every price here is US dollars, postage included. No arithmetic at the kitchen table.
